D E T A I L S
• I really wanted to be the Cinderella that fit these slippers, but not to be. They're GORGEOUS. Disco-era adjacent is how I'd describe them: slingback, peep-toe high-heel sandals that will literally go with *everything* because they're made of Thai checked silk (Madras style) woven in multiple, subtle jewel-tone hues of orange, purple, blue, pink, green, yellow, bronze, etc. It's a literal rainbow of color!
• The styling is also very pin-up pretty: delicate slingbacks with golden buckles, beautifully shaped vamps with sculpted bows on the toes, and that peep-toe window for your pedicure. Do the retro mix--80s shoes with 50s clothes!
• LABEL: "Stuart Weitzman/for/Martinique" and marked 9N in both shoes. They do mean narrow. Moderate sale wear on soles; heel caps intact--looks like they hit many a dance floor, but only on the soles...
• I did find an ad for these! 1982. Bangkok silk specially designed by Stuart Weitzman..."A rich medley of spring's entire color spectrum highlights every hue in your wardrobe with King of Siam opulence." Yessss!
