All of our artisan books are handcrafted from beginning to end. All paper is hand-trimmed and folded into signatures that are then hand-sewn to form the text block. This creates the life-long durability of the book and ensures sale that the pages are truly secure. From here, the hardback covers and cloth or leather spines are constructed and attached to the text block, forming the bones of the our books. Then the final steps are taken: the choosing and shaping of the cover papers and end sheets, making each a truly unique, loved, and cherished work of art ready for you and the truly unique, loved, and cherished people in your life.

All 128 pages of the textblock are 90 lbs. cold press paper. Great for pens, inks and markers of all types, and will accept wet media with some page distortion for the daring. We recommend placing non-porous material between the page you're working on and the behind it (such as wax paper or parchment paper) if using mediums such as watercolor or gouache.
