Antique French Art Deco Inlaid Wood Wall Crucifix with Bronze Corpus sale of Christ

A lovely antique wood wall crucifix featuring beautiful inlaid work and filets of brass inlaid vertically and horizontally - the length and breadth of the cross. On each corner of the cross there is another unusual geometric inlaid design. The corpus of Christ is made from cast bronze and it feels heavy. It has lovely detailing. At the base there is a small gold 'ND' standing for Notre Dame, and at the top INRI. There is a small brass hanging ring on the back.
