"TSUMUGI" is a Japanese traditional woven kimono. This type of kimonos are casual kimonos for daily use.

Notice : BACHI ERI collar - already folded into half MEISEN weave. The lining has some soils, stains or turned slightly yellow. It has white basting/tailor's stitches, which prove that it is new or renewed by washing and sewing again professionaly. Please remove them when you wear. Very OLD, almost antique - around 80 years old or so.

This product is an authentic kimono made in Japan according to Japanese tradition. We have carefully inspected and graded each piece. However, being antique or vintage means that there are all sorts of imperfections. Stains, discoloration, and damage from time and use are present, but can still be worn if you are interested in antique or vintage and don't mind that this item is not perfect. It is also a great fabric for handcrafting.
