Marianne Westman's breakfast coffee set with classical shapes and blue flower pattern consist of 2 cups, 2 saucers. The set was designed in 1952 as part of the Mon Amie series. Iconic Swedish mid-century design! Maker: Rörstrand, original production; Material: Creamware Condition: All pieces are in excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Very minor / minimal signs of wear as per photos. All items marked with Mon Amie, Rörstrand

The artist:
Marianne Westman designed the ”Mon Amie” series in 1952 for the Rörstrand factory. The set consisted of about 40 tableware parts ranging from dishes and pots – to eggcups and teapots sale. They were made of flintware with gently rounded shapes and cobalt blue patterns of wild rosemary flowers. Mon Amie, with its era-typical expression, was crafted until 1987. The series was relaunched in 2008 with new models.
