This was inspired by a cover from a leading home magazine. But where they used punch-out leaves and glued them on, my pumpkin is thoroughly 100 percent hand-painted--each leaf from brilliant oranges to a cobalt blue--with crimson and turquoise in between. And, if you zoom in on any pic--you can see that despite the fact that I've left the stem and the pumpkin which is a dried gourd in its natural color, I hand-painted white dots on all the background spaces giving this lovely pumpkin a nice textured feel to it. A lovely transitional piece--displays well in Halloween and Thanksgiving settings. Please note that the wire display vase is not included.
Specs: 8 inches height without sale stem; with stem is additional 2 inches; diameter--approx. 7-1/2 inches; hand-painted in quality acrylic paints and sprayed with several coats of satin varnish; signed/dated by the artist.
Pumpkin will be carefully wrapped with ample padding and placed in a sturdy box for safe shipping.
