A beautiful pashmina stole, hand-woven by our artisans in Kashmir with the finest quality pashmina wool to give you a luxuriously soft and beautiful product. Pashmina or Cashmere wool (as its usually known in the west) is the finest type of cashmere wool available. The scarf is hand-woven on wooden looms and is lightweight, extremely soft and incredibly warm.
Available in a stunning and vibrant colour, it can be paired with jeans to elevate its look or slipped over a dress for those chilly party evenings.

Difference between Cashmere & Pashmina:

Nowadays, the name ‘Pashmina' is applied to a wide variety of textiles including cheap silk-polyester-wool blend scarves. This creates a lot of confusion in the minds of the customer.

Authentic Pashmina from Kashmir (what we offer at Posh Arts) is a sub-type of Cashmere wool and is the finest quality Cashmere. Cashmere wool fibres can range between 12-21 microns. Pashmina wool fibres (from Capra Hircus or Pashmina goat) range between 12-16 microns. Please remember, the finer the wool fibre, the more time consuming the hand-weaving process and the softer & warmer the end-product.
