Rare Vintage Mid Century Chinese Asian Elegant Hand Carved Large Wooden Jewelry Box With Elaborate Design. This jewelry box is just amazing the amount of detail that was hand carved is beautiful. This is a large jewelry box measuring 13.5” sale height by 15.5” width by 8” depth closed. This has a top flip up drawer that opens to a mirror with 4 sections one for rings and the others for small jewelry. This also has 2 other pull out drawers on the bottom. Each sections is meticulously hand carved with Asian designs and what I can see are temples, flowers, birds, foo dogs and others. The corners have these tribal faces which looks super cool. Overall this is in good vintage shape no chips or cracks on the mirror and no significant damage to the wood. There are some light marks which is expected this is dated from the 40's-50's.
