This grade of Charoite is a spectacular deep purple with well defined chatoyant pearly lavender swirls. It's now very difficult to find this quality.
Charoite is sale a rare stone found in a small area of north eastern Siberia along the Chary river. It was discovered in the 1940's and first made its way to international gem markets in 1978.
